Na de laatste introductie van drie modellen en de bekendmaking van de nieuwe merknaam staat 3GSM nu in het teken van opnieuw drie nieuwe speciale modellen.
Speciaal vooral omdat BenQ Mobile drie nieuwe wegen bewandeld, die van de zakelijke UMTS telefoon (S81), de muziek telefoon (EF51) en de allereerste HSDPA telefoon (EF91). Alle drie de toestellen zijn tijdens het 3GSM World Congress geïntroduceerd en zullen de markt rond het tweede kwartaal van dit jaar bereiken.

BenQ Mobile EF51
Muziek op je telefoon is HOT en dat ziet BenQ Mobile nu ook in met deze nieuwe EF51. Het nieuwe toestel is speciaal bedoeld voor de doelgroep die muziek op zijn of haar toestel wil kunnen afspelen. Daarvoor beidt de EF51 alle mogelijkheden.
De ingebouwde MP3 speler speelt alle standaard muziekbestanden af en wordt geflankeerd door een FM-radio. Door middel van de Speech-to-Music functionaliteit kan men alle functies in de speler bedienen met de eigen stem. De stereo speakers die een 3D sound voortbrengen en de 6-band equalizer maken het geheel af.
Andere opvallende onderdelen van dit nieuwe toestel zijn de flip waarachter het toetsenbord zich bevindt, de speciale witte en zwarte kleuren waarin het toestel beschikbaar komt en de bediening voor de MP3 speler op de voorzijde.
Het toestel wordt verwacht rond het twee kwartaal dit jaar en prijzen zijn nog niet bekend.

BenQ Mobile EF91
Dit nieuwe model is speciaal ontwikkeld voor één doel; HSDPA. Het sneller broertje van UMTS is de nieuwe ontwikkeling op het gebied van hoge snelheid internet, streaming muziek en films. Het nieuwe toestel dat uitgevoerd is in een clamshell formaat, heeft naast deze nieuwe techniek ook een 3.2 megapixel camera met flitser en autofocus, een MicroSD geheugenkaart slot en geïntegreerde antenne.
BenQ Mobile is naast grote spelers als Nokia en Samsung het derde merk dat nu met een HSDPA model op de markt komt. De verwachting is dat we het nieuwe model rond de zomer op de Benelux markt kunnen verwachten. Prijzen zijn momenteel nog niet bekend.

BenQ Mobile S81
Deze nieuwe ultradunne UMTS telefoon van nog geen 13 mm is één van de kleinste UMTS toestellen momenteel in de markt geintroduceerd. Het toestel zal worden uitgevoerd met een VGA camera op voorzijde voor videogesprekken, een MP3 speler die MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR en WMA bestanden afspeelt en een 1.3 megapixel camera met 10x digtale zoom en een flitser. Verder is er een 262.000 kleurenscherm aanwezig en de uitbreiding via MicroSD geheugenkaarten.
Het toestel staat gepland voor het tweede kwartaal van dit jaar en zal zich vooral gaan richten op de markt waarbinnen zakelijke gebruikers zich willen uitrusten met een dergelijk dun toestel en diverse zakelijke mogelijkheden als synchronisatie met PC en de ingebouwde kalendernotities.
