Eerste i-mode toestel met 3G mogelijkheden vanuit Sony Ericsson; de K610im
Sony Ericsson betreedt de i-mode wereld met het allereerste specifieke toestel gebaseerd op de K610i. De nieuwe K610im is het eerste klassieke 3G stijl i-mode model vanuit de Zweedse fabrikant.
Sony Ericsson toont ons vandaag het nieuwste toestel gebaseerd op de bekende K610i die binnen enkele weken in de winkel zal liggen. De K610im is de eerste specifieke 3G i-mode toestel van de Zweedse fabrikant en bevat een 2.0 Mpixel camera met flitser, Memory Stick Micro geheugenkaartslot, flight mode, 3G/UMTS, videobellen, ondersteuning voor USB massaopslag en USB verbindingsmogelijkheden.
Daarnaast heeft het toestel een 1.9 inch 260.000 kleuren scherm, 16 MB intern geheugen en alle standaard i-mode mogelijkheden zoals i-mail, i-mode DRM en iMMS.
Het toestel zal rond Augustus verkrijgbaar zijn in de Benelux via providers die i-mode ondersteunen (KPN Mobile in Nederland en Base in België). Prijzen zijn tot op dit moment nog niet bekend.
