Nieuwe Opera Mobile & Opera Mini browser; ultieme mobiele internet browser
De Opera browser staat bekend als een van de beste internet browsers voor smartphones. In de laatste paar dagen is een nieuwe browser getoond speciaal voor elk toestel met een internetverbinding en JAVA ondersteuning.
80% van alle toestellen heeft de mogelijkheid tot het gebruik van GPRS/EDGE/UMTS en kan toegang krijgen tot het internet via deze verbindingsmogelijkheden. De woorden GPRS/EDGE/UMTS zeggen mensen vrij weinig, maar betekenen eigenlijk alleen dat men de mogelijkheid heeft services als WAP en het internet te gebruiken. Browser-to-SMS: A New World of Mobile Commerce
New capabilities in Opera Mini help businesses take the pain out of mobile commerce. Opera Mini now supports seamless mobile commerce via SMS. For example, users can click directly on the Web site to purchase ringtones, games and other content which will then be delivered as an SMS. The charge will appear in the phone bill as an SMS with the price set by the seller. Opera Software today announced Opera Mobile 8.60, its proven mobile browser for Symbian Series 60 (S60) mobile phones. With this new release, Opera is offering its most complete and easy-to-use mobile browser to date. Opera Mobile 8.60 for S60 is designed to let users interact more effectively with the Web on their phone, and includes new features to speed up the user interaction through auto-completion of Web addresses and passwords, page toggling and smooth scrolling.
Opera Mobile 8.60 for S60 is designed for the new Symbian 9, S60 3rd Edition phones, featured on handsets such as the Nokia 3250, N91, N80, N71, E60, E61 and E71. It also supports all current Symbian S60 2nd Edition mobile devices.
